Alan Carr
Alan Carr is a member of our board of directors. Beginning in 2013, Alan has served as the Co-Founder, Managing Member and Chief Executive Officer of Drivetrain LLC. Prior to co-founding Drivetrain LLC, Alan served as a Managing Director at Strategic Value Partners from 2003 to 2013, leading investments in various sectors in North America and Europe. From 1997 until 2003, Alan was a corporate attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meager & Flom and before that, at Ravin, Sarasohn, Baumgarten, Fisch & Rosen. He currently serves as a director of the following public companies: Sears Holdings Corporation, Unit Corporation and Old Copper Company Inc. (f/k/a J.C. Penney Company Inc.). Alan has previously, and does currently, serve as a director on several other boards in diverse industries and throughout the world. Alan received a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Tulane Law School.
