As an accomplished General Manager in the power generation sector, Richard has a proven track record of successfully overseeing operations and maintenance across multi-unit facilities. His expertise lies in implementing process improvements, driving change management, and establishing highly efficient, cost-effective, and safe operations. Richard excels in mentoring cross-functional teams, managing budgets, initiating preventive maintenance programs, and resolving operational challenges in alignment with organizational objectives. With a leadership style focused on continuous improvement, he brings a wealth of experience in facilities management, project management, asset management, and strategic planning. Currently serving as the Plant Manager at Aries Gasification Plant in Linden, N.J., Richard leads a team of twenty-six personnel in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the new gasification plant at Linden. His skills in operations, outage management, capital improvements, and regulatory compliance have significantly contributed to the plant’s success. With a strong emphasis on safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence, Richard continues to drive impactful change in the facilities management industry.

Richard has served in various roles of increasing responsibilities throughout his career as PSEG, Plant Manager, Director of Combustion Turbine Engineering, Director of Outages for the PSEG fleet, and Director of Projects. Richard was also a key player in new plant development and plant acquisition. Other areas of corporate leadership included developing the Fossil Scorecard, implementing the Fossil Operational Excellence Model, and supporting Human Resources in the GROW (Growing and Reaching for Opportunities for Woman) program mentoring high-potential female colleagues in building their leadership skills.

After retiring from PSEG, Richard led the asset management team at Marubeni where he was responsible for the asset management of wind farms and combined cycle plants located in North America.

Richard is married and is a Navy veteran who served in the United States Navy.

Finally, Richard is excited about this new opportunity to learn and lead the Aries team at Linden and hopes to leverage his skills to ensure long-term successful operation of the plant in support of Aries.
